Man looks like God (1 Corinthians 11:7)

1 Corinthians 11:7 (New King James Version)

7For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.
(ripped from BibleGateway.com)

Man does not look like God, he was made in his image but not "looks like" God.

God made all people sinners (Proverbs 16:4; Romans 5:19)

Proverbs 16:4 (New King James Version)

4The LORD has made all for Himself,
Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom.

Romans 5:19 (New King James Version)

19For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.

Lets get this straight, God did not make sinners, man by his own choosing (free will) sinned, yes Adam sinned, commending all to original sin, But this was not something God imposed but something man imposed.

What you state in your statement of faith and what's in the bible are not the same, hence using your logic you preach a different gospel and not his. The Lord hates hypocrites.

sincerely,
a humble Christian

Image?

Genesis 5:3:

And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.

So, Seth didn't look like Adam?

Exodus 20:4:
You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;

So, the image would not look like anything in heaven or on the earth or in the water?

Matthew 22:20: And He said to them, "Whose image and inscription is this?" They said to Him, "Caesar's."

So, the image on the coin did not look like Caesar?

You speak foolishness.

Now, the making of sinners?

God says, "The LORD has made . . . even the wicked."

You say, "God did not make sinners."

Who's lying?

God says, "it is not of him who wills" (Romans 9:16)

You say, "man by his own choosing (free will)"

Who's lying?

God says, "It is not in man . . . to direct his own steps." (Jeremiah 10:23; see also Proverbs 20:24)

You say, "man by his own choosing (free will)"

Who's lying?

God says, "God has committed them all to disobedience" (Romans 11:32; see also Isaiah 26:12; 63:17)

You say, "this was not something God imposed"

Who's lying?

You are (Titus 1:2)! All liars shall have their part in the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8)

You say that you believe ALL the Bible to be true and that you have to obey ALL the Bible?

ALL christians have sinned, even you, Darwin. The bible says "If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off"

How come you have all your hands and feet intact? None of us are sinless. We have ALL sinned using our hands, feet, ears, mouth, eyes, so why do you have all your appendages intact? The bible says "If your hand causes you to sin, CUT IT OFF!"

To answer your first question, yes (Matthew 4:4). To answer your second question, they do not cause me to sin. For the rest, see the following.

Thank you for your email, but it is sadly typical.

You have received this form letter because there was no substance to your email, and we view it as not a good use of our time (Ephesians 5:16) to respond to you specifically and personally, since in your criticism you gave nothing but your opinion (Psalm 94:11).

If you care to write again, and quote something we have written, and show from the Word of God how we err, then we will be glad to consider what you say (Proverbs 6:23).

It is evident from your opposition to the truth (John 14:6) that you are caught in the spirit of error (1 John 4:6). We beg you to fear God (i.e. be afraid of God, Luke 12:4-5) like there is no tomorrow, because for you, unless you repent, your tomorrow (or possibly even today) will be eternal torment (Revelation 21:8).

Although we know very few in our days will (Matthew 7:13-14; 2 Peter 2:2), we hope for your sake you repent and heed God's word (Matthew 4:4).

In the love of Christ,

a true church

So in other words, Darwin, or whoever wrote me this reply, you don't feel the need to answer questions that have been asked you, right?

Why are all your appendages still attached? The Bible says for us to cut off offending appendages.

No sir, you did not. You answered everything with a very rude and childish answer.

Yes, I agree, a person's feet, hands, mouth or whatever aren't the route problem of man kind's sin problem, a man's HEART is the route problem. However, a man's heart is not going to cause a person to lie, steal, beat his wife and kids, slander, gossip. I wouldn't be able to lie, steal, beat people, slander or gossip, if I didn't have the PHYSICAL ability to do that.

You prove yourself to be a liar in your own email.

In regards to whether I answered or not, you wrote, "No sir, you did not."

Then you immediately deny your own words in your very next sentence by acknowledging that I did answer. You wrote, "You answered everything with a . . . answer."

God will judge you and condemn you according to your own words (Matthew 12:36-37).

Darwin,

If you appreciate correction then I suggest you rewrite your articles. You make several grammatical errors and write with a poor style which suggests that you wrote hastily. Here is one example: "When the false teaching of highly respected men in the Christian community gets exposed, it is amazing some of the arguments we hear." Both your independent and dependent clauses are passive and "is" does not match "arguments." Please edit and rewrite; there is no excuse for laziness.

Does writing with the beauty of Isaiah and Luke interest you? Does following the model of Daniel interest you? Then work on your writing and edit your work.

Jake

PS This should be a simple email to respond to where all you need to say is "I should work on writing correctly. I will edit my articles (or send them to an editor) and communicate correctly." I assume that you're able to admit to being a poor writer.

Al,

I have responded to your inchoate use of Scripture and I agreed to speak with you, providing that you made a good faith effort to answer my one original question. I will ask it again: Are the members of Darwin’s group generally uneducated (e.g. no college) and do they generally come from troubled childhoods? Would it be safe to assume that because you did not answer the question you are embarrassed about what the data may suggest? Again, if you answer this question without qualification I will call you as you requested. Now please answer this question and post this email on your blog so that others can see the demographics of your group (unless it’s embarrassing!).

Jake

Dear Jake,

Although I would appreciate any correct grammatical criticism, it is to your detriment that you bring up matters that matter not before the word of God (Matthew 7:1-2; 12:36-37). What is important is if we speak according to Scripture or not (Hebrews 4:12-13). God's word does not teach matters of grammar or college degrees have anything to do with righteousness. Nonetheless, I will briefly address your concerns.

Concerning your email of 7-15-05, having independent and dependent clauses that are passive are not a matter of correct grammar, perhaps style of writing, but it breaches no grammatical rule that I know. If you think otherwise, I would appreciate proof rather than just your opinion. Thanks.

Also, the subject of the sentence in which you mentioned the singular copula is not "arguments" but rather the singular "it." You look like you need a lesson or two on grammar yourself.

Also, Isaiah, Luke, and Daniel were all inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21). I have no such advantage (1 Corinthians 2:1).

Concerning this email to Al, college degrees matter not before God, as some of the greatest men of faith were uneducated (Acts 4:13), and Jesus Himself was "unlettered" (John 7:15).

Nevertheless, since you asked, we have in our midst, a federal officer, a building inspector, a paramedic, a teacher with a Master's degree, four others with a four year degree, and myself with a four year degree in Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic. I also was working on a Master's degree in Hebrew in Israel in 1988-89, but returned to the states and did not finish it.

Also, the only "troubled childhood" that I know, is a couple were placed in an orphanage for some time away from their parents, and later raised by an oppressive mother-in-law, but both grew up to be productive citizens in society before they met us. Moreover, we do not buy the worldly wisdom of psychology and the typical "troubled childhood" philosophy of our wicked age (1 Corinthians 3:19; Colossians 2:8-10).

I hope you repent and put your focus and trust on God's word, rather than on things that matter not. You may want to see www.atruechurch.info/savednot.html. I would rather you take heed to God's word, than suffer in torment forever, but this will be your fate if you repent not (www.atruechurch.info/hell.html). May God have mercy on you.

In Christ,

Darwin

Dear Mr. Fish,

I was very inspired by your website. I'm planning on starting my own teaching website as well, but don't have the resources just yet. Many of today's Christian leaders deserve to go to hell. Their false teachings are motivated by self-interest or pride. For people like you and I, who truly understand the word of God, we shall reign the earth when the day comes.

I was wondering if you would like to meet up sometime this month because I have great hopes of transforming this generation of so-called Christians. I would like to create handouts written with the truths and distribute them at a location (which we can determine at a later time). Please e-mail me back and let me know if this is possible.

I was wondering how many males and females are part of your congregation? We are the last hope for this generation. The way things are headed, I really feel sorry for all the misled people I see around me. The only way you and I can save this generation is to multiply the congregation we have. Only the pure blood and mind with a true believe in Christ will last. If we want to reign the heavens, we have to set aside all impurities. We need to procreate and continue what we've started. I believe your congregation is a great start, and we need to multiply it so the next generation after us will be even stronger.

God's kingdom is ours to claim. Only the truth will last. March on brother, and together we will reign.

In Him,

Your brother in Christ

Thank you for the email.

You wrote, "I have great hopes of transforming this generation of so-called Christians."

We have no such hope, nor is it consistant with the word of God (Luke 18:8; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; 2 Peter 2:1-3). We hope that a few, at best, might take heed and endure to the end (Matthew 24:13).

You wrote, "I would like to create handouts written with the truths and distribute them at a location."

We already do this on a regular basis. You might want to see our videos on our website for examples.

You asked, "I was wondering how many males and females are part of your congregation?"

Why does this matter? It shouldn't. If it is part of your procreation idea, we leave such things in God's hands. We simply strive to live godly lives, and raise godly offspring (if we are married). Plus, Scripture teaches to not seek a wife (1 Corinthians 7:27).

You wrote, "We are the last hope for this generation."

No way! Wisdom cries out everyday (Proverbs 8:1f), and He gives light to every man who comes into the world (John 1:9); and He has mercy on whom He wills; and whom He wills He hardens (Romans 9:18).

You wrote, "The only way you and I can save this generation is to multiply the congregation we have."

We will not save this generation. This generation is not going to be saved (Luke 18:8). Only a few out of it will be saved (Matthew 7:13-14; Luke 13:24), unless this is the generation that ends up in the great tribulation. Then, many of them will be saved (Revelation 7), but not through us (at least, not revealed).

You wrote, "We need to procreate and continue what we've started."

We didn't start it by procreating, and there is no need to continue by procreating. Scripture does not teach such a need.

You wrote, "Your brother in Christ.".

Many claim such a thing, but most are false.
